I bet the miners are singing “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)” right now to keep their hopes up.

CNN.com is right now saying that Bonds passed Aaron (cover story on Homepage) but if you scroll down under Sports it still says he’s tied with Aaron.

Mr. Bob Murray (that balding guy in the sweater vest) also said “we don’t know if the miners are alive or dead, but if they’re dead, we know they died instantly from the seizmic concussion” wait, you don’t know if they’re alive or dead, but you know how they died?

this is just up the road from me.
it’s the headlines in our local paper and tv stations and it’s what people talk about in lines at various stores.
personally, mining is a job i can’t imagine doing.. and dying trapped under a mountain of rock? if they survived, to imagine waiting in that complete dark…
they’ll keep looking, and, yeah, try and find them even if it’s just bringing out the bodies. it’s important to the families.
stuff like this, i dunno… i can’t find anything even the slightest bit amusing…
go figure.

Who writes these dumbass headlines? Drunk monkeys with typewriters? I’m in the wrong business apparently.
